Perujam 2026 - Recap
PeruJam 2026, long live to the jams! We don't want to repeat what we wrote in last year's recap; we'll just add that when a jam is made with heart, it's inevitable that it won't grow year after year. Word of mouth is always active, and this year the jam has grown both in size and audience. Lots of people came from all over Italy to enjoy the good vibes and the passion for this culture. Leo did a great job together with Alecs, who unfortunately couldn't be there in person. The welcome was wonderful; every year we feel at home. Free Wall for about 30 writers, circles, open mics, live performances, basketball, and fingerboard. DJs, MCs, breakers, and writers, each with their own space. It's awesome! It's thanks to guys and girls like them that true grassroots culture survives and will survive even when it's no longer a fad like it is now. A big hug to all our friends here; we look forward to seeing even more of you next year! Finally, kudos to Maggie and Glove for winning the Queen and King cypher, you rocked with your energy! Good old Jato won the surprise aptitude award among the writers, with his gorgeous rug from Pushin Rugs ❤️
